SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:

Mr. Novy is an environmental scientist with a broad range of remediation and investigation field experience. Over the past 6 years, he has conducted more than 300 confined-space entries and has worked extensively in high-hazard, and emergency response situations, including oil and chemical spills on land and water, many of which required work in USEPA personal protection Levels B and C. Mr. Novy is a trained Amtrak and PSE&G "contractor" and has supervised soil excavation, aboveground tank demolition, and underground storage tank removal projects, including contractor coordination and supervision of waste offloading by rail, barge, and truck. Mr. Novy's field experience also includes soil and groundwater sampling, supervision of test pit excavation activities, and air monitoring using a wide variety of monitoring equipment. Mr. Novy has provided technical support on several of Excel's largest and most complex remediation projects, including Excel's site-wide remediation at the Former Standard Tank site in Bayonne.
