SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:

Ms. Twele has approximately 7 years of experience in task/project management and site investigation/remediation planning and implementation. She is a licensed New Jersey Subsurface Evaluator with experience in conducting soil investigations using direct-push technology and split-spoon sampling/hollow-stem auger drilling; conducting groundwater monitoring using passive diffusion bags, Hydropunch technology, and traditional and low-flow purging and sampling procedures; installing temporary, overburden, and bedrock monitoring wells and air sparge/soil vapor extraction (AS/SVE) wells using direct-push technology and hollow-stem auger, mud-rotary, and air-rotary drilling; conducting tidal studies; collecting geotechnical samples using Shelby tubes; and evaluating the presence/absence of light non-aqueous phase liquid (LNAPL) and/or dense non-aqueous phase liquid (DNAPL) during subsurface investigations. She is knowledgeable in investigation/remediation of sites impacted by LNAPL, DNAPL, aromatic volatile organic compounds (VOCs), chlorinated VOCs, semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), metals, and pesticides in soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment. She is skilled in the preparation of letters; sampling, health and safety, and quality assurance project plans; investigation, monitoring, underground storage tank (UST) closure, and remedial action selection reports; and investigation and remedial action workplans.

Ms. Twele's responsibilities include assistance with and daily management of Preliminary Assessments, Site/Remedial Investigations, and Permit Reporting for private and municipal clients. Ms. Twele is responsible for projects under various state regulatory programs including the NJDEP Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund (HDSRF) Grant and Site Remediation Programs. Ms. Twele supports small to large, complex site investigation and remediation projects, including investigations in support of redevelopment and Brownfields projects.
